In collaboration with other gyms and small businesses across the city, this 2026 event brought together LGBTQIA+ athletes and their allies for a day of strength, celebration and visibility. This event raised over $7,000 for our beneficiary — The Transgender Resource Center of NM.

This year’s event centered inclusion and strength at every size — no weigh-ins or gendered divisions. Athlete’s had a chance to show off their strength in an uplifting and supportive environment!

Through collective effort, local partnerships, and shared space across Albuquerque, Lift Proud will continue to aim to turn strength into tangible impact for the local community.
